The Simes model 125 is a purpose built tool, designed to meet Australian commercial chain mesh fencing regulations. The fixed clip magazine holds 31 CL-25 fencing clips that have a minimum thickness of 2.2mm and are suited to either PVC coated or galvanised wire fences.

CL-25 clips are galvanised to prevent rust and excess wear.

Simes have applied careful consideration to the model 125 design process; clips are easily inserted into the spring loaded magazine, hand grips are rubberised and each length of CL-25 clips are glued to help prevent shattering during transportation.

In use, the model 125 makes chain mesh installation faster and easier by rendering the need to load individual clips unnecessary. The flat lying magazine also allows the operator easier access to the fence from either side of the helicoil/guide cable.
