Both the Campagnola F6 & Star 50 loppers share rank as the most powerful air powered tools in the Campagnola range. Both boast a 50mm hard wood cutting capacity with minimal effort making them ideal for use in the forestry, horticulture and grounds keeping industries.

While both loppers are available fitted with extension poles ranging from 0.5m up to 3m in length the ‘Parrot beak’ style blade set up of the F6 is better suited to the longer of the extension poles from 2m and upwards in length. This is because when cutting limbs high up in a tree it allows the operator to hook the anvil over the desired branch and enable him to hold it steadily in place while performing the cut.

The Star50 blade setup however is better described as a “cup” style with the opening of the cup directed away from the operator. This allows for a “stab and cut” motion which is quicker but better suited to the shorter poles.

Both the Campagnola F6 & Star 50 loppers are the only tools in the range with a double action air return system so that compressed air is used to close and open the blade. This feature assists in dislodging the blade from excessive cuts.
